The Automation Engineer builds, executes, and reports on automation testing for the applications that power the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

• Translate business requirements and processes into technical requirement and configuration settings specific to software application solutions
• Design, build, and innovate a detailed automation framework and methodology for testing end to end
• Maintain an automation framework with a centralized test case repository in CI
• Supporting and independently completing test orchestration across the SDLC which will require problem solving using analysis, experience, and decision making
• Independently own a workstream, reviewing and testing related activities throughout the full life cycle of the project
• Responsible for recording, logging and tracking defects in the system and coordinate resolution with development team and functional leads
• Create and maintain technical documentation covering areas you oversee"
 

 

Required Skills:

 

• 5+ years of Automation Testing experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, UI testing, Webservices Testing
• Must have Java, .NET or Python development experience
• Experience in end- to- end test automation for Backend, UI and Web Applications
• Must have experience using 2 of the following 3 automation tools: Selenium, Cucumber or UFT
• Experience with testing plans, documentation, process, and testing execution on multiple development deliverables
• Clearly demonstrate knowledge in using various testing methodologies Agile and Scrum and logging results using solutions such as JIRA and or Confluence
• Experience with systems and integration testing
• Ability to work independently with little to no daily supervision
• Mentor and direct junior staff as needed"

• Experience using RPA to automate software processes end to end
• Experience with CI/CD build tools like Jenkins or Spinnaker
• Collaborating with the developers and with other teams around the globe"

 

Travel availability:
- Up to 10% travel in the testing and delivery phase
- Up to 3 months at the Host City during Games operations"
