IT Consultant- European Projects Madrid FY25

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Consultant with a proven track record in technology implementation projects, particularly in the realm of Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in advising clients on technological solutions, managing Cloud technology projects, driving successful IT implementations and migrations from On-Premise to any of the main cloud providers.
Key activities to be performed:
- Requirements engineering, requirements management and analysis using predominantly agile practices:
- Solution design and implementation based on defined requirements
- Iterative scoping. This involves the application of the lean methodology to identify potential for, and benefit from, early learning
- Preparation and/or support of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) inclusive of the preparation of test scenarios to cover the full scope of the business processes impacted by the requirements. Logging and classification of any (potential) defects found and preparation of formal UAT test reports
- Preparation and/or support of non-functional and load testing inclusive of prediction/modelling of typical critical use cases and their respective volumes as well as performance expectations and acceptable tolerances from a user/business perspective.
- Post-implementation support inclusive of ensuring immediate validation of successful deployment, and, where deficiencies are found/reported (e.g. via incident management), contributing to remedial actions to resolve incidents, restore service and maintain continuity. Depending on the business impact, this shall potentially include the rollback of changes whilst a longer-term resolution is being worked on.
- Innovation services. Provision of proposals and/or of an innovation strategy based on a deep understanding of the industry, technology, best practices and emerging opportunities for improvement. Reporting and analysis of potential benefits. Advice on enterprise application and data integration. Identification of operational savings and/or automation opportunities. Ensure compliance to applicable Standards including security aspects such as authentication, authorisation and encryption.
- Definition of, or support of the definition of, scope of work for work packages for e.g. operational services or software and application development services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field,
- Proven experience in technology consulting or IT project management
- Strong understanding of Business Analysis service in complex IT organizations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams in English.
- Demonstrated project management expertise.
- Desirable certification in Business Analysis, such as BCS Certificate in Business Analysis
- Proficiency in English.
