SAP Finance Process Lead (Record-to-Report)

We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Process Lead who combines strong Accounting expertise with a passion for process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and business transformation.

You will work closely with Finance leaders, Shared Services organizations, and global project teams to drive the design, standardization, and adoption of Finance processes across international organizations. The role is initially focused on a major transformation program and offers opportunities to contribute to other global initiatives in the future. Based on the responsibilities described for the Regional BPO role.

Your future role

As a SAP Finance Process Lead, you will help organizations adopt standardized Finance processes and support successful SAP transformation initiatives.

• Lead the design, standardization, and adoption of SAP-enabled Finance processes across multiple countries and business units.
• Act as the key interface between Finance stakeholders, business teams, and project teams.
• Facilitate workshops to assess current processes, identify gaps, and define future-state ways of working.
• Drive process harmonization and challenge non-standard practices.
• Support business readiness activities before deployment.
• Coordinate Finance-related testing activities and validate business requirements.
• Support go-live preparation, hypercare, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and change management activities.
• Capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement and best practices.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance Operations, Shared Services, GBS, or Finance Transformation.
• Strong expertise in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including:
• Experience with SAP Finance solutions (SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA).
• Experience participating in ERP, SAP, or Finance transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of Finance process standardization and target operating models.
• Experience working with senior Finance stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in international and multicultural environments.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Experience: 

• SAP S/4HANA implementation or deployment experience.
• Experience in Shared Services or Global Business Services environments.
• Experience supporting multi-country Finance transformations.
• Change management and user adoption experience.
• Consulting experience is a plus.
